Run for Paws App

Job ID: 40166112

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to bring Run for Paws—Los Angeles’ first dog-friendly racing series—to life in a single mobile experience for both iOS and Android. The look and feel must follow our brand palette of navy blue, lime green, and white, but the heart of the job is the set of very specific, race-day-centric features below.

Deliverables
• Onboarding & Personalization: an interactive flow that greets users by collecting the runner’s name, dog’s name, and a few “favorite” details we can surface later for a personal touch.
• Authentication: support for both email/password and social media login.
• Exclusive Photo Gallery: cloud-hosted images that can be pulled up instantly by bib number so runners can download their shots after the event.
• Race Tracker & Certificate: GPS route tracking that logs distance and time, then auto-generates a digital finisher’s certificate—complete with a finish-line photo overlay.
• Race Calendar: an in-app feed of upcoming events, starting with Paws & Peeps Easter Run (April 11) and Puppies & Beer 5K (May 30).
• Marketplace: a store for dog products with admin-side commission control.
• Social Sharing: one-tap posting to Instagram that pre-populates tags such as #RunForPawsLA.

I’m open to the cross-platform framework you’re most comfortable with (React Native, Flutter, native Swift/Kotlin—your call) as long as performance and polish stay top-tier. Clean, well-commented code, brief documentation, and a short hand-off session will wrap up the engagement.

If this sounds like your kind of build, let’s talk timelines and milestones so we can get tails wagging before the next starting gun.
