Rive Interactive App Animations
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m building a mobile app and want to animate a mascot character in Rive for smooth, natural emotional transitions and lightweight mobile performance.
I already have 9 different emotion artworks of the same mascot (normal, happy, sad, crying, surprised, etc.). The main goal is to create seamless transitions between these emotional states so the character feels alive and responsive inside the app.
What I need:
• A clean Rive (.riv) project with a well-organized state machine.
• Smooth transitions between all emotional states (for example: neutral → sad → crying → happy) without hard cuts.
• Idle animations such as subtle breathing, blinking, and small body/head movement to make the mascot feel alive.
• Talking animation support (simple mouth movement / lip-sync style looping animation is enough).
• Optimized animation setup for React Native mobile apps with good performance and lightweight export size.
• Clearly named artboards, layers, animations, and state-machine inputs so future updates are easy for developers.
• Basic implementation notes for React Native Rive runtime integration.
I will provide all mascot source images/assets after we start the project.
Please share:
• Previous Rive character animation work
• Any experience with interactive mascot/avatar systems
• Examples of smooth emotion transitions or talking animations for mobile apps
