Ride-Hailing App Deployment & Customization
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m about to take a new Johannesburg-centric ride-hailing service live and already have the full React Native + Laravel codebase in hand. What I now need is a development partner that can turn the finished repo into a polished, production-ready product and then stand by it.
Here’s what the first phase looks like:
• User-interface redesign – light visual refresh that keeps the current flow but gives it a cleaner, more local feel.
• Dual payment gateway integration – wire both Paystack and Flutterwave into the existing checkout, test end-to-end, and ensure 3-D Secure.
• Store launches – prepare and submit the iOS and Android builds, handle certificates, keystores, and compliance questions until both apps are approved.
• South-African phone format support – enforce +27 validation from sign-up through driver onboarding.
• Stable production deployment – provision the Laravel backend, connect Firebase and Google Maps APIs, set up CI/CD so hot-fixes ship quickly.
The stack is React Native, Laravel, Firebase, and Google Maps; if those tools are already second nature, you’ll feel at home. A Johannesburg or broader South-African presence is a bonus for time-zone and on-the-ground testing, but I’m happy to work remotely with a responsive team.
After go-live I’ll need ongoing support for bug fixes and small feature iterations, so a retainer or hourly arrangement beyond the initial scope is very much on the table.
If your team can own the items above, demonstrate previous marketplace or mobility work, and move fast, let’s talk timelines and next steps.
