React / React Native Developer - Part-Time

**React / React Native Middle Developer – Part-Time Remote (Long-Term)**
I'm looking for a skilled React and React Native developer to join an ongoing part-time engagement (~15–30 hours/week) with a clear path to full-time as the collaboration matures.
**The Work**
You'll be working across both a web platform (React) and a mobile app (React Native) — building new features from spec, improving existing components, squashing bugs, and optimizing performance across devices and platforms. This is a real production environment, not a greenfield hobby project, so clean code, good Git practices, and reliable communication matter.
**What I Need From You**
- Solid, hands-on React and/or React Native experience in production environments
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, async/await patterns, and state management (Redux, Zustand, Context — whatever you've used and can defend)
- Ability to read and work within an existing codebase, not just start from scratch
- Self-managed, async-friendly work style — you deliver on schedule without hand-holding
**Nice to Have**
- Node.js backend experience
- PostgreSQL
- WebSockets / real-time features
- CI/CD pipeline familiarity
**How We'll Work**
Short iterations, clear scope, regular check-ins. I expect clean commits, honest status updates, and proactive communication when blockers come up.
