React Native Temporary Contract Work
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Our company (Enlifted) has a need for a react native expert to come in and help us finish a replatform effort from our legacy ionic/vue app. The app is a speech-to-text transcription app for voice journaling and improving your life through small, consistent language adjustments. This project is strictly to reach feature parity with our existing legacy application, and will work alongside our head of technology, as well as our other software engineers engaged with this project. There is already significant effort that has been put forth on this, we simply need some help to get to the finish line.
Aspects of the project:
* Native app written in react-native
* Migrating from Ionic/Vue app of the same functionality
* RxDb, Airtable, Couchdb, MobX state tree for the backend/CMS/state management layers.
I expect that the finished product will include:
* All components built out in cosmos.js
* Jest tests where applicable
* All CSS/styling using Shopify Restyle.
* End to End testing and validation of all functionality implemented.
* Documentation where necessary and applicable
* All work to match Figma designs.
As of the time of this writing, the following is already implemented:
* Integration with Shopify Restyle, and the patterns therein
* Setup and documentation of how to run the app in a mobile emulator (simulator on iOS).
* Initial components (atoms, a couple molecules) setup and running.
* Cloud database (couchDB) setup and running in AWS behind load balancers/etc.
* Integration with Airtable up and running for airtable-based CMS for our product team to update state on the app automatically.
* Initial integration from the app to the cloud DB setup and running.
* Initial transcription engine module setup, not yet integrated with the app (based on Siri, focusing on an offline-first experience).
* various bits of documentation.
* Jest unit tests running.
* Figma designs for just about everything.
