I'm encountering issues with building a release APK for my React Native app due to Gradle version compatibility. Specifically, the failure comes from the Kotlin Gradle script within the React Native Gradle plugin, resulting in "Unresolved reference: serviceOf" errors at two instances in `node_modules/react-native-gradle-plugin/build.gradle.kts`.
Key Requirements:
- Upgrade Gradle to a compatible version (9.0+) or adjust the plugin to work with my current Gradle version (8.14.1).
- Expertise in resolving version mismatches between React Native Gradle plugins and Gradle API.
- Strong knowledge of Android build processes and tools like Android Studio, ProGuard configuration, etc.
