React Native Mobile App

I’m expanding our in-house e-commerce product and need a React Native specialist who can turn designs and requirements into a polished, cross-platform experience for both iOS and Android. You’ll plug into our existing workflow, pair with our backend developer, and make sure every screen feels fast and intuitive.

What the work looks like
• Build the full React Native codebase for a shopper-facing app, keeping performance and scalability in mind.
• Consume our GraphQL endpoints for catalogue, cart and checkout flows, handling errors gracefully and caching intelligently.
• Translate Figma files into pixel-perfect components, adding smooth animations and gesture handling where they improve usability.
• Collaborate in real time via GitHub, daily Slack check-ins, and the occasional video huddle to unblock questions quickly.
• Ship to TestFlight and internal Play Store tracks so our QA team can put the builds through their paces.

Acceptance criteria
1. Both iOS and Android builds pass store-level automated checks with no critical warnings.
2. Product listing, search, add-to-cart, checkout and order history all function against our staging GraphQL API.
3. Rendering stays above 60 fps on mid-range devices; cold start under three seconds.
4. Code is lint-clean, fully typed with TypeScript, and covered by unit tests for reducers, hooks and service layers.
