React Native UI & Integration

The current Android-only app is already in production, but its interface needs a fresh layer of polish and new functionality. I’m ready to hand over a mature React Native codebase and would like someone with 3–4 years of hands-on experience who feels comfortable reading, refactoring, and extending it.

Primary focus lies in building elegant, reusable custom components and ensuring every screen scales smoothly across the wide range of Android resolutions. Clean responsive design principles are essential, as is the ability to wire those new surfaces back into our existing backend through the APIs that are already live.

You’ll spend most of your time in React Native (JavaScript or TypeScript—whichever you prefer) and standard state-management tooling, but a steady eye for UI detail matters just as much as fluency with fetch calls and JSON parsing.

Deliverables (acceptance in Git repository):
• New or refactored custom components with responsive layouts
• Integration of those components with the current API endpoints (no backend build, just consumption)
• Clear commit history and brief implementation notes so future contributors can follow along
