React Native Expo Component for ID document Detection
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a highly capable software developer to design an efficient React Native Expo component for my project.
I want a React Native Expo component to use a pre-trained model to detect three types of ID-document and draw the binding box with high performance. It must detect when the object is in the flattest (not tilted, etc.) position compared to the camera and take a clear picture (not blurred!)
The model exists and added here as model.zip. The model should be bundled with the app as an asset.
I want to use the component in my app as:

The main function of this component should be to use a pre-trained model to accurately detect documents and draw bounding boxes.
The ideal candidate for this job would have:
- Prior experience and proven skills in using and modifying pre-trained models.
- Solid understanding of React Native.
- Familiarity with Expo components and how to optimize their performance.
Primary Duties:
- Develop a highly accurate ID-document detection component.
- Ensure that the detection focuses primarily on the photo and passport number.
- Optimize the performance of this component for high throughput.
- Thorough testing to ensure optimum operation.
