React Native Engineer for Arya Health App

We are seeking an experienced React Native Engineer to take technical ownership of our mobile application, Arya—a mobile-first health app that integrates onboarding, authentication, profile management, and an AI-driven chat feature to provide guidance and support.

Arya is built using React Native and Expo, and features authentication flows, user profile management, onboarding, and conversational capabilities powered by OpenAI. We need a solid professional who can help us transform the current codebase into a reliable, scalable, and production-ready application.

Key Responsibilities:
* Build and enhance the Arya mobile application using React Native and Expo.
* Lead the development of key user-facing flows, such as onboarding, authentication, profiles, settings, and chat.
* Integrate and maintain backend services—specifically for authentication, user data, and profiles—within Supabase.
* Enhance AI/chat functionality utilizing OpenAI APIs.
* Refactor the existing early-stage codebase into a cleaner, production-ready architecture.
* Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and UX inconsistencies.
* Improve state management, routing, forms, and error handling.
* Define the technical direction, application structure, and engineering best practices.
* Collaborate closely with the Founder/Product Owner on the design and prioritization of new features.
* Prepare the application for production launch on both iOS and Android platforms.
* Set up or improve workflows for development, testing, code quality, and release processes.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of relevant experience who is comfortable engaging in product thinking, frontend implementation, API integrations, debugging, architectural decision-making, and deployment. The ability to make sound engineering decisions and help define the future evolution of the product is crucial.
