React Native Driver App Development

Project Overview:
We are looking for a React Native developer to build a driver app for a small delivery system (starting with ~10 stores). The app enables drivers to receive delivery requests from nearby stores, pick up orders, and deliver them to customers efficiently.

Target Platforms:

- iOS & Android (cross-platform, React Native)

Core Features:

1. Authentication:

- Driver login/logout (email or phone + password)

2. Order Notifications:

- Push notifications for nearby orders

- View order details: store, customer, delivery fee, distance, items

- Accept or reject orders

3. Navigation & Tracking:

- Map view showing route: driver → store → customer

- Google Maps API

- Send driver location to backend for live tracking

4. Order Status:

- Confirm pickup (“Picked Up”)

- Confirm delivery (“Delivered”)

- Attach photo as proof

5. Order History / Earnings

- List of completed deliveries

- display earnings per delivery

Technical Requirements:

- Framework: React Native

- Maps & GPS: Google Maps API, background location updates

- Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

- Media: Camera access for photo

- State Management: Zustand or React Query

- Backend API: REST endpoints (provided or developer can suggest structure)

Deliverables:

- Fully functional iOS + Android driver app

- Clean, well-structured source code with comments

- Setup and deployment documentation

- Instructions for connecting to backend

Budget: Negotiable, depending on experience and timeline
