We are a dynamic team building a mobile application that requires real-time, bidirectional communication. Our backend is powered by a Node.js server with a GraphQL API and integrated Socket.io for live features. We need an expert React Native developer to join us immediately and take a lead role in developing the core mobile application. This is a fast-paced, dedicated role for a developer who excels at implementing real-time functionality and delivering under pressure.

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and self-driven React Native developer to integrate with our existing team. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and delivering our mobile application, leveraging our existing GraphQL API and implementing real-time features using Socket.io. Experience with live data handling is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a robust and performant mobile application using React Native for both iOS and Android.

Integrate and work extensively with our existing GraphQL API for data fetching and mutations.

Implement and manage real-time event-driven features using Socket.io (e.g., live chat, notifications, real-time updates, collaborative features).

Architect efficient state management solutions (e.g., React Context, Redux, Apollo Client) to handle both RESTful/GraphQL data and real-time socket events.

Collaborate closely with our backend Node.js team to ensure seamless integration between the GraphQL API and Socket.io events.

Ensure code quality, performance, and application stability.

Troubleshoot and optimize the real-time connection for stability across various network conditions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 3+ years of professional experience with React Native and a portfolio of released applications.

GraphQL Expertise: Strong experience working with GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client is a major plus).

Socket.io Mastery: Must have demonstrable, hands-on experience integrating and using Socket.io within a React Native application. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Backend Familiarity: Experience working with Node.js backends, understanding how Socket.io servers are structured.

Delivery Focus: A proven track record of delivering functional projects under tight deadlines. The absolute maximum deadline for the core MVP is 20 days.
