React Native Backend API Integration

I have a React Native mobile app that is still wired to placeholder data. I now have live REST APIs ready and need someone who can wire every screen to those endpoints, tidy up the existing backend code, and push a few overdue enhancements.

Here is what the job involves:
• Replace all mock services with the real REST APIs I provide. The calls are straightforward and do not require OAuth or JWT—there’s no authentication layer involved.
• Hunt down and resolve the lingering bugs that occasionally crash the app or return empty responses.
• Profile the code, trim unnecessary re-renders, and make whatever optimisations are needed so common actions feel instantaneous.
• Add a couple of small features that are already designed but not yet coded; I’ll share the Figma frames and endpoint specs.

Please work in a clean branch, commit early and often, and keep your code in idiomatic TypeScript (the project is already set up). When you’re done, I should be able to pull the branch, run `npm run ios` or `android`, and see each screen loading live data smoothly.
