Order & Delivery Mobile App
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I need a clean, reliable mobile application that makes it effortless for customers to place food orders and have them delivered to their door. The entire experience should center on a smooth ordering flow and real-time order tracking—from the moment a dish is added to the cart until the courier rings the bell.
What I’m looking for:
• Intuitive customer interface: browse menus, build a cart, choose delivery time, and pay securely in just a few taps.
• Live order status: map-based tracking that updates automatically as the restaurant accepts, prepares, and hands off the order to the driver.
• Simple account area: order history, saved addresses, card management, and push notification preferences.
• Restaurant portal (web or in-app): receive orders, mark stages (accepted, prepared, out for delivery), and update item availability.
• Driver view or lightweight courier module: see assigned orders, navigation link, and status toggles.
Deliverables I expect from you:
1. UI/UX wireframes plus a working prototype that demonstrates the full ordering journey and tracking.
2. Well-structured source code for both iOS and Android (native Swift/Kotlin or a modern cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native).
3. Basic backend setup (REST or GraphQL) with order, user, and restaurant endpoints; any real-time component you prefer (Firebase, Socket.io, Pusher, etc.) to power live tracking.
4. Clear deployment instructions and brief technical documentation so I can hand the project to my in-house team for future scaling.
Real-time tracking is mandatory; everything else can be kept lightweight for this initial release so we stay focused on letting customers order quickly and see exactly where their food is in the process.
