News App & Editor Portal Development

I run www.derechtsepen.org and want the entire experience packaged into a mobile app similar in look-and-feel to what ad.nl offers its readers. The core of the app is a continuously updated news feed that must display both images and videos smoothly, so expect plenty of multimedia handling and caching work.

Alongside the app I need a small web-based portal where I can invite additional people and grant them the “Editor” role only. Editors must be able to log in, create or update articles, attach photos or video clips, and push their stories live to the feed without touching code. A clean UI, basic workflow controls and solid user authentication are essential.

Please build the app for both iOS and Android (one code-base with React Native or Flutter is fine, but I’m open to native if you prefer). The portal can sit on top of an existing CMS or a lightweight custom backend as long as it exposes a reliable API to the app.

Acceptance criteria
• App installs and launches on current iOS & Android versions.
• News feed renders images and videos responsively and plays video inline.
• Real-time content updates flow from portal to app without manual refresh.
• Portal supports adding, editing and deleting posts under the single “Editor” role.
• Source code and deployment instructions handed over at project close.
