Multi-Lingual Offline App for Thermal Receipts

Project Title:
React Native App for Offline WiFi Thermal Receipt Printing (Multi-Language Support)

Project Overview:

• We are looking for a skilled React Native developer to build a lightweight mobile application that allows receipt generation, printing via WiFi thermal printers, and local data storage — all functioning offline without any internet requirement.

Core Purpose:

• To generate, print, and store receipts using a WiFi-enabled ESC/POS-compatible thermal printer. The app must work fully offline, connected only through local WiFi.

Platform:

• React Native (mandatory)

• Must run smoothly on Android

• Fully offline functionality

• Use local database (e.g., SQLite or Realm)

Receipt Details:

Each receipt should include:

• Item name

• Weight (in kg)

• Rate per kg

• Total amount (auto-calculated)

• Date and time (auto-generated)

• Farmer/Kiosk name (editable field)

• Logo or QR code (optional but preferred)

App Features:

• Simple UI for manual entry of:

• Item Name

• Weight (kg)

• Rate per kg

• Auto-calculate and display total amount

• Live preview before printing

• Reprint last receipt option

• Print receipt via WiFi-enabled thermal printer (58mm or 80mm)

• Store each receipt locally

• View receipt history with filters by:

• Date

• Item Name

• Farmer/Customer name

Export receipts data to:

• PDF

• CSV

Data Storage:

• All data must be stored locally on the device

• Use efficient local database (e.g., SQLite, RealmDB)

• Include easy-to-use receipt history viewer

Printer Compatibility:

• Must support ESC/POS command set

• Compatible with common WiFi-based 58mm / 80mm thermal printers

• Developer must be familiar with ESC/POS command structure

Mandatory Language Support:

The app must support:

• English

• Gujarati

• Hindi

Deliverables:

• Full React Native source code with comments

• APK for testing

• README with setup and installation instructions

• Printer compatibility documentation
