Mobile Live Seller Chat Integration

I want to add real-time seller-to-buyer chat inside our existing mobile commerce app and need it to work smoothly on both iOS and Android. The backend user accounts and product catalogue are already live; your task is to build and wire up the chat layer so sellers can answer customer questions without leaving the app.

Core requirements
• Real-time text messaging with typing and read indicators
• Image upload, emoji and link previews
• Push notifications when the app is in the background
• Seamless sign-in using our current JWT token flow
• Lightweight admin panel where staff can step in if a dispute occurs

I’m flexible on the tech stack—Firebase, Sendbird, Stream, Twilio Chat, or a custom WebSocket service are all options. Choose what you’re most confident will deliver fast message sync and scale to a few thousand concurrent users. The front end can slot into our existing React Native codebase, but I’m open to native Swift/Kotlin if you prefer.

Deliverables
1. Fully working chat module integrated in our staging build for both stores
2. Clean, documented code plus setup notes for CI/CD
3. A short loom or screen-share walkthrough demonstrating every feature
4. One week of post-launch bug-fix support

Acceptance criteria
• Messages appear on the second device in under two seconds on 4G
• Chat history loads instantly when a thread reopens offline
• Apple and Google push notifications pass store review without additional permissions
• GDPR delete request is honoured in one click from the admin panel
