IoT Smartwatch & React Native App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a compact wearable that captures three core health metrics—steps, heart-rate, and SpO₂—and pushes them, in real time, to a companion mobile app written in React Native. I also want the watch to relay basic smartphone notifications (calls, texts, app alerts) so the user never misses an important message while working out.
Here is how I picture the workflow: the watch gathers raw sensor data, the firmware processes and packages it over BLE or Wi-Fi, and the React Native app streams, stores, and visualises the incoming values instantly. Users should see live graphs, daily summaries, and historical trends inside the app without manual syncing.
Because this is an end-to-end build, I’ll need both the embedded side and the mobile side delivered:
• Hardware & Firmware
– Selection (or recommendation) of a low-power MCU with BLE and the necessary motion/PPG sensors
– Schematic or modular reference design that can be taken to PCB fabrication
– Firmware to capture steps, heart-rate, SpO₂, plus a lightweight notification service
– Power-saving strategy to ensure a full day of use on a single charge
• React Native App
– Real-time data subscription and local storage (SQLite or realm)
– Dashboards for live read-outs and historical charts
– Push notification mirroring from the smartphone
– Clean, minimal UI that runs on both iOS and Android
• Handoff & Testing
– Source code for firmware and app, fully documented
– Build instructions and a quick-start guide
– Demo video or live walk-through proving real-time sync and notification flow
If you’ve already integrated health sensors with Bluetooth LE or built React Native apps that stream live data, this should feel familiar. Let me know which microcontroller / sensor stack you prefer and any past examples of similar wearables you’ve shipped, and we can discuss milestones right away.
