I need a complete social networking application that centres on user engagement through three core pillars—personal profiles, a real-time news feed, and a robust messaging system. Every user should be able to create a profile with basic details, upload an avatar, and manage privacy settings. The news feed must aggregate posts chronologically (or algorithmically if you suggest a smarter approach) while supporting likes, comments, and simple content filtering. For private or group conversations, the in-app messenger should deliver instant, reliable messages with read receipts and basic emoji support.
Multimedia is critical. The app has to handle photos, short-form videos, and audio clips natively, storing them efficiently and streaming or displaying them without noticeable lag. If you have a preferred stack for high-volume media—perhaps AWS S3/CloudFront, Firebase Storage, or an equivalent CDN—let me know in your proposal.
Core deliverables:
• User authentication and profile module
• Scrollable, refreshable news feed with post interactions
• Real-time messaging (one-to-one and group)
• Secure upload, playback, and storage workflow for photos, videos, and audio
• Clean, responsive UI/UX with basic theming and accessibility considerations
• Source code in a well-documented Git repository plus setup instructions
