Friend-Connecting Mobile App Development

Job ID: 40563087

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m building Stillbored, a mobile-only experience focused on genuine social interaction, specifically helping friends see who’s free and spark spontaneous hangouts. The core idea is simple: when boredom hits, the app shows which friends are available right now and lets them chat or suggest quick meet-ups without the clutter of traditional social feeds.

I already have the concept sketched out; what I need is an end-to-end mobile solution that feels fast, friendly, and completely frictionless. Design should be playful yet clean, with intuitive status toggles (“bored”, “busy”, “up for anything”), lightweight messaging, and the option to share location only when a meet-up is accepted. iOS and Android parity is important, but I’m open to using a single cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native if that speeds things up and keeps maintenance sane.

Key deliverables:
• High-fidelity UI/UX mock-ups approved before development
• Fully functional mobile app (iOS + Android builds)
• Scalable backend with real-time status updates and push notifications
• Basic analytics and admin dashboard for user moderation
• Source code, documentation, and a short hand-off walkthrough

Acceptance criteria: app passes store submission checks, real-time presence updates within 2 seconds, and onboarding to “first ping” takes under 45 seconds for a new user on average test devices.

If you have solid experience turning social concepts into polished mobile products, I’d love to see your approach and a timeline that gets an MVP into testers’ hands quickly.
