Finalize TikTok-Style App Interface & Backend

My in-house software engineer has brought our short-video social app to a functional beta, but we still need polish and rock-solid stability before launch. I’m looking for a collaborator who can jump in quickly and help us close the remaining gaps in two areas:

1. User Interface
• Refine design elements so every screen feels consistent, modern and on brand
• Tighten the navigation flow from feed to profile, camera, and discovery to keep interactions friction-free
• Implement responsive user-feedback mechanisms (loading states, haptics, subtle animations) that make the experience feel as snappy as TikTok

2. Backend Integration
• Harden database connections and optimise queries for real-time feed loading
• Clean up API handling, ensuring all endpoints return the correct payloads and error codes
• Complete and thoroughly test the authentication system, including social-login flows and token refresh logic

We’re working with React Native on the front end and a Node.js/Express, MongoDB stack on AWS for the backend. GitHub is our repo; tasks are tracked in Jira. You’ll be pairing directly with my engineer, so clear communication and disciplined version control are essential.

Acceptance criteria
• UI matches Figma files to pixel-perfect standards across iOS and Android
• All listed backend components pass integration tests and withstand load testing to 10k concurrent users
• No critical or major bugs detected in a full regression cycle
