Fashion Brand-Factory Linking Platform MVP
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m putting together a proof-of-concept platform that links fashion brands and designers with clothing factories in Egypt. For this first milestone I only need an MVP that the essential end-to-end flow, built with the stack outlined below.
Scope of this MVP
• Responsive web frontend in React (Next.js) plus a single code-base mobile app for both iOS and Android—React Native or Expo is fine.
• Core roles: Factory, Brand, Admin.
• Brands can create a simple RFQ (item, fabric, quantity, target budget).
• A basic matching logic automatically surfaces suitable factories based on capacity, MOQ and fabric type.
• Factories reply with a quote; a lightweight in-app chat allows follow-up messages.
• Very simple order status tracker (Requested, Quoted, Accepted, Completed).
• Authentication via email/password plus social media login.
• Admin dashboard focused on user management (activate, suspend, view profiles).
• Stripe or Paymob gateway stubbed in—just enough to hold payment tokens for later integration.
• Push or in-app notifications through Firebase.
• Backend in Node.js (NestJS preferred) or Django with PostgreSQL, deployed on AWS or Vercel.
Deliverables
1. Source code for frontend, mobile, and backend.
2. Database schema and seed data for quick testing.
3. Basic README: setup, environment variables, deployment steps.
4. Short Loom or screen-share walkthrough showing the RFQ to quote flow working on web and on a device simulator.
I’m happy to iterate after this stage, but for now I need a clean, working MVP that proves the concept and is ready for demo.
