Event-Driven Food Delivery Platform Development

Job ID: 40591299

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

This project serves as a production-ready architectural foundation for high-concurrency food delivery and real-time logistics tracking platforms. Built from the ground up using an event-driven mindset, it demonstrates how to handle complex state synchronization between a mobile client and a scalable backend layer without performance degradation.

Core Architectural Highlights:
Event-Driven Backend Engine: Built using Node.js and Express, implementing Socket.io (WebSockets) to handle live order status transitions (Placed ➔ Preparing ➔ Out for Delivery ➔ Arrived) dynamically without resource-heavy database polling.

Cross-Platform Frontend Mobile App: Built using React Native (Expo) featuring responsive design patterns, a complete modular state management workflow for cart mechanics, and live event-listeners to update UI elements instantaneously.

Clean & Scalable Codebase: Structured strictly with decoupled routing and controller layers, isolated MongoDB schemas, and environment-variable security to ensure it is immediately ready for production deployment, CI/CD piping, and containerization.

Engineering Background Behind This Architecture:
I am a Full-Stack Systems Engineer bringing 3 years of hands-on experience, including two completed software engineering internships. I specialize in shipping reliable platforms, having previously engineered core technical layers for an active, funded commercial product as well as an enterprise-grade performance tracking application built directly for an institutional Head of Department (HOD).

This prototype is fully functional, clean, and architected to scale seamlessly into multi-portal systems (User, Restaurant, and Delivery Partner interfaces).
