Cross-Platform Social Networking App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a straightforward mobile app that runs natively on both iOS and Android and lets users start talking to one another the moment they tap a single, clearly labelled tab on the main screen. Once that tab is touched, the interface should reveal the people already using the app and open an instant-messaging view where two-way text chat flows in real time.
Because this is for personal use rather than a commercial launch, the interface can stay clean and minimal—just the sign-in screens (email, Apple, or Google are fine), the central “Connect” tab, and the chat view with typing indicator, read receipts, and push notifications. A lightweight real-time backend such as Firebase, Supabase, or a similarly robust service would suit the project well; pick whichever you are most comfortable with, as long as it keeps messages in sync across both platforms.
Deliverables I expect:
• Complete, well-commented source code for both platforms (React Native, Flutter, or native Swift + Kotlin—your choice).
• Two test builds (TestFlight and an Android APK) that show the Connect tab working and messages syncing instantly.
• A short README explaining environment setup, how to switch backend keys, and steps to publish the apps to the App Store and Google Play.
If you have questions about design tweaks or which messaging SDK might save time, let me know so we can lock that in before you start coding.
