Cross-Platform Social Networking App

WE WILL NEED TWO APPS

I’m looking for a lean, cross-platform social app that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android. The goal at this stage is an MVP I can demo to stakeholders.

Core functionality I absolutely need:
• User accounts with sign-up, login, and editable profiles
• One-to-one messaging that delivers in real time or near real time
• One App for glider pilots and one app for golfers (See attached documents)

Preferred approach: React Native for a single shared codebase. A lightweight backend such as Firebase, Supabase, or AWS Amplify is fine—whichever lets us move quickly.

Deliverables
• Fully functioning iOS & Android builds of the MVP
• Clean, well-commented source code in Git
• A short setup/run guide so I can build and test locally

Clear, frequent communication and short sprint cycles are important to me. In your reply, please outline your proposed tech stack, a high-level timeline, and any prior apps you’ve shipped with similar features.
