Cross-Platform School Attendance App

I need a mobile-app solution that lets teachers record attendance in real time and pushes instant absence notifications to both staff and parents. The app must run smoothly on iOS and Android from a single codebase, so React Native or Flutter make the most sense, but I’m open to other modern cross-platform stacks if they meet App Store and Play Store requirements.

Core functions
• Real-time attendance tracking: a teacher taps a class list, the status updates instantly in a cloud back end, and the record is visible to authorized users without page refreshes.
• Absence notifications: as soon as a student is marked absent, their guardian receives a push alert (and optionally an email) with the time stamp.
• Parent portal: parents log in securely, see the day’s attendance, historical reports, and any flagged issues.

I will provide class rosters in CSV format and the school logo/brand assets. You will deliver:
– Source code with clear comments
– One signed IPA for TestFlight and a release-ready APK / AAB
– Brief deployment notes covering the back-end setup (Firebase, Supabase, or your proposed alternative)
– A short video walkthrough demonstrating each feature

Once the test build passes a simple acceptance check—real-time write/read latency under three seconds on a standard 4G connection and successful notification delivery—you’ll hand over the final builds and repository.
