Cross-Platform GPS Sharing App and provider / client order functionality
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need a production-ready mobile application that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android and centers on real-time location sharing. The core requirement is reliable GPS tracking that lets users see each other’s live position on a map with minimal latency and reasonable battery usage.
Alongside the map view, the app should let users:
• Create and edit personal profiles with a photo, display name, and short bio.
• Exchange instant messages inside the app—one-to-one and, ideally, small group chats.
• Receive push notifications for new messages, location requests, or profile updates even when the app is in the background.
A clean, modern UI is important to me; I’m open to React Native, Flutter, or native Swift/Kotlin if you can justify the choice. The backend, authentication method, and database schema are up to you as long as the final build is secure and scalable.
Deliverables I will review:
1. Source code with clear comments and build instructions for both platforms.
2. Two store-ready builds (TestFlight and Google Play Internal testing).
3. A brief setup guide covering the server/API side.
4. Short video or live demo showing GPS sharing, messaging, profile creation, and push notifications in action.
I’m ready to start as soon as I find someone who can hit these marks and communicate progress openly.
