Children’s Storybook Creator App

I want a single, polished mobile application—running natively on both iOS and Android—that lets any parent, teacher, or budding author craft a complete children’s storybook from blank page to published title. Inside the app the user begins with a script-writing workspace that supports chapter organization, simple formatting controls, and AI-assisted wording suggestions (if you prefer an off-the-shelf library for this, let me know).

From there, illustration is the star feature. I need advanced editing tools: multi-layer drawing, adjustable brushes, text overlays, filters, and the ability to import or export high-resolution PNGs so artists can refine images externally if they wish. Think Procreate-lite capabilities, not just a basic doodle pad.

When the story is ready, the user should tap “Publish” and choose among industry-standard formats:
• PDF
• ePub
• MOBI

The export pipeline must preserve image quality, embed fonts correctly, and attach metadata that meets Amazon KDP’s current requirements so the file is accepted without further tweaks. A guided upload flow or direct KDP integration would be ideal, but at minimum the app must generate compliant files the user can drop straight into Amazon.

Deliverables
1. Production-ready iOS and Android builds plus source code (React Native, Flutter, Swift/Kotlin—your call, as long as performance is smooth).
2. Admin-side documentation covering build steps, third-party SDKs, and how to update illustration assets.
3. A brief user guide or walkthrough video that shows writing, illustrating, and exporting a book in all three formats.

I’ll test final binaries on both platforms; acceptance is when I can create a short picture book, export it to PDF, ePub, and MOBI, and upload those files to my Amazon KDP dashboard without validation errors.
