CPWL Command Center App Enhancement

Job ID: 40518406

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm reaching out because I'm looking for a developer to take over and grow an internal app I built for our youth football/cheer league.

What it is:
The CPWL Command Center is a role-gated staff portal for the Chicagoland Pop Warner League (CPWL), serving league administrators, board members, commissioners, org presidents, and head coaches across our member organizations.

Current state:
It's a React Native (Expo) app exported as a Progressive Web App, hosted on Firebase. It's live and in beta with a group of head coaches. Key features already built:
- Role-gated dashboards for 5 distinct roles, each with different permissions and visibility rules
- A league directory with scoped visibility (org presidents see their whole org, coaches see only their team plus same-age-group peers)
- An admin panel for approving/managing users, toggling pages on/off, and sending targeted notifications (by role, org, or individual)
- Score submission and game/coaches reporting tools
- Schedule and standings pulled from published Google Sheets
- A Level Rules reference screen and a Google Calendar fallback view
- Firebase Auth (Google SSO) and Firestore for data, currently running on Firebase's free Spark tier (no server-side functions yet)

What I'm looking for:
I built this myself as a volunteer and it's served its purpose, but I'd like to bring in a developer (or small team) who can professionalize the codebase, help me think through architecture decisions, and build out the next phase of features. Top of the list: push notifications, a moderated photo/media feed, and possibly upgrading to a paid Firebase tier to unlock server-side capabilities.

Would you be open to a conversation about scope and rates? Happy to share the codebase and a live demo link.

Thanks,
Justin Malcolm
