Project: Employee Attendance Tracking App
What we need:
A simple attendance tracking app for a small team (10-15 employees) who work in the field daily.
Platforms:
Android app (Google Play Store) — for employees to check in/out
Web dashboard — for admin/manager to view attendance records
Core features:
Employee app (Android):
Login (simple email/phone + password)
"Check In" button — captures current GPS location + timestamp
"Check Out" button — captures current GPS location + timestamp
View their own attendance history (date, time, location)
Admin web dashboard:
Login for admin/manager
View list of all employees
View daily/monthly attendance log per employee — who checked in/out, when, and where (location on map)
Basic filter by date range / employee
Not needed (to keep scope/cost down):
iOS app (Android + web only for now)
Continuous/live GPS tracking through the day (just check-in/check-out points, not real-time movement tracking)
Payroll integration, leave management, or anything beyond attendance
Tech preference: Open to your recommendation, but React Native (Android) + React (web) + Node.js backend is preferred if possible.
