Android App Maintenance with React Native

Hi,

I’m looking for an experienced React Native developer for ongoing maintenance of a live Android app.

The app is already live and feature-complete.
The scope is maintenance only no new feature development.

Tech Stack
- React Native (hybrid app)
- Node.js (TypeScript)
- PostgreSQL
- REST APIs
- Sentry for crash & error monitoring
- Android is currently the only active platform

Main Responsibilities (Maintenance Only)
- Bug fixes & crash fixes
- Monitoring and resolving production issues
- Play Store updates & compliance
- Stability & performance-related issues
- Small technical adjustments only when required to keep the app stable

Important, Please Read Carefully
- No new features
- No rebuild
- No redesign
- No refactoring or architectural changes without prior approval

The focus is purely on keeping the existing app stable and running smoothly.

Backend maintenance is included only insofar as required for stability.
No new backend features or structural changes.

Availability and Setup
- expected workload: 10–15 hours per month
- Setup: Hourly contract with a clear monthly hours cap
- Goal: Longterm, calm maintenance collaboration
- Start after handover from the current development Team

Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience with React Native
- Experience maintaining live production apps
- Comfortable working with existing codebases
- Reliable communication and reasonable response times
- Focused on stability rather than rewriting or optimizing code

Experience with social or chat-based apps is a plus, but not required.
