Job Description
We are a fast-growing startup building a suite of mobile applications and are looking for an experienced Android developer / deployment specialist to help us successfully publish our apps on the Google Play Store.
We currently have 3 production-ready mobile apps (built in React) and need an expert to handle the complete deployment lifecycle — from pre-launch checks to final approval and go-live.
Scope of Work
You will be responsible for:
1. Play Store Setup & Configuration
Create / optimize developer account setup (if needed)
Configure app listings (title, description, graphics, screenshots, etc.)
Set up app signing, policies, and release tracks (internal, closed, production)
2. App Build & Deployment
Generate signed APK/AAB builds
Ensure compatibility with latest Android requirements
Handle versioning and release management
3. Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform internal testing and Play Console testing flows
Identify crashes, ANRs, or policy issues
Ensure smooth app performance across devices
4. Compliance & Policy Handling
Ensure apps comply with Google Play policies
Fix/recommend changes for:
Permissions
Privacy policy
Data safety form
SDK compliance
Handle rejections (if any) and resubmissions
5. Iteration & Final Launch
Apply required changes until apps are approved
Successfully push all 3 apps to production (live)
Requirements
Proven experience publishing apps on Google Play Store
Strong knowledge of:
React Native / React-based mobile apps
Android build process (Gradle, signing, AAB)
Play Console policies & compliance
Experience handling app rejections and approvals
Attention to detail and fast turnaround
Nice to Have
Experience with fintech / POS / offline-first apps
Understanding of UPI/payment integrations (India-specific)
Experience with multi-app deployment
Deliverables
3 fully published apps on Play Store
Zero critical issues (crash-free baseline)
Compliance-approved apps (no pending policy issues)
Documentation of deployment steps
Budget & Timeline
Budget: Open (fixed or milestone-based)
Timeline: 5–10 days (faster preferred)
