Academic Research Sharing App

We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer (iOS/Android) or a team to help us build a social networking application focused on connecting students and professors for research-related collaboration. The app will work similar to LinkedIn, with additional academic-focused features.

Key Features

User Roles:

Students – can connect, share posts, and collaborate.

Professors – can connect with students, guide, and share updates.

Organizations – can post jobs, hackathons, and events.

Core Social Features:

Create posts (text, images, documents)

Like, comment, share

Send/accept connection requests

1:1 chat and messaging

Profile view with academic/professional details

Authentication:

Google login

LinkedIn login

Email with OTP

Other Requirements:

Clean, modern UI/UX (inspired by LinkedIn)

Scalable backend (preferably cloud-based)

Secure data handling

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience building social media or community apps

Strong knowledge of React Native / Flutter (cross-platform) or native development (Swift, Kotlin)

Experience with real-time chat, push notifications, and secure authentication

Ability to design or collaborate on scalable backend APIs

Good communication and availability for regular updates
