electron serial port - how to disconnect

Hello freelancer,

I have connected my device to laptop using RS232 interface (serial port) in order to read data into my electron application.

I am using this package: https://github.com/serialport/electron-serialport

this package has a very good documentation at: https://serialport.io/docs/

I have some issues that I need to fix:
- if user refreshes the page and the device data is read then everything crashes and you have reload the page
- I am not able to save serialport instance into array for later use

Pls only bid if you have good english skills
