Taxi Booking Website on React.js

I’m looking for a developer who can deliver a complete taxi-booking website built with React.js as the front-end framework. The site must let passengers choose their pickup and drop-off points, see an immediate fare estimate and confirm the booking through a smooth, responsive interface that works just as well on phones as it does on desktop.

Here’s the scope I have in mind:

• Build the full React front-end, structured with reusable components and clear state management (Redux, Context API or a similarly robust pattern).
• Integrate with a back-end REST or GraphQL API for ride creation, driver assignment and status updates; I’ll supply the endpoint specs or mock files as soon as the project kicks off.
• Provide real-time updates on ride status using WebSockets or long-polling, so the passenger always knows when the driver is on the way.
• Include secure user authentication (email or social login), session handling and profile management.
• Plug in a payment gateway for card transactions at checkout, handling 3-D Secure where required.
• Deliver a polished, modern UI—clean lines, intuitive navigation and fast load times. Feel free to recommend a UI kit (Material UI, Chakra, Tailwind, etc.) or work from scratch.
• Wrap up with clear documentation (environment setup, build instructions and component breakdown) plus a short demo video that walks me through booking a ride from start to finish.

Acceptance criteria
1. The booking flow—from entering addresses to payment confirmation—works without errors in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and the latest Android/iOS browsers.
2. Code is lint-clean, organised and pushed to a Git repo with meaningful commit messages.
3. All user data (including tokens and payment info) is handled securely and never logged in plain text.
4. Deployment-ready build scripts are included so I can spin up staging and production instances in minutes.
