Senior Full-Stack Developer (React Js)

Main Responsibilities
 Plan and lead development on sets of related user stories or epic level features
 Translate user story requirements into solution designs; coding, testing, and producing
technical documentation
Technical Authority
 Act as a subject matter expert on the software architecture----of product solutions
 Provide solution designs for complex software deliveries
 Provide technical support to software developers
 Review code implemented by peers and more junior team members providing technical
validation against coding standards, target design and agreed outcomes.
 Provide root cause analysis and remediation of system software problems
Records and systems
 Produce and maintain technical documentation
Technical Skillset:
 Strong commercial experience as a software engineer with expert level coding skills acquired
in a hands-on capacity in a modern web development technology stack including but not
limited to JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, Node.js and React.
 Highly proficient in the use of relational and NoSQL databases is essential, preferably
DynamoDB and PostgresSQL but equivalent NoSQL and SQL DBs will suffice.
 Advanced level understanding of REST API design for extensibility and portability is essential.
 Deep practical insights into software delivery in an agile ways of working context with an
advanced level skill set in aligned technologies and tooling for continuous integration,
automated software release and deployment and configuration management is essential.
 Demonstrable successes in the development of AWS native and cloud hybrid solutions on
API-first, microservices target architectures and serverless frameworks such as Lambda is
essential
 Expert level knowledge of best practice in modern software engineering practices and
methodologies including XP, ATDD, CI/CD pipelines, test automation and automated release
management is essential.
 Advanced understanding of software design patterns and their use in the development of
commercial software components is highly desirable.
 Experience leveraging Gitlab, Jenkins or AWS Code Pipeline to implement CI/CD automation
is highly desirable.
 Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
complex software designs and concepts to colleagues is essential
 Highly effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is essential.
