B2B SaaS Platform: Fullstack Development for Hiring Intelligence Tool

Project Description:
We are building a B2B SaaS platform aimed at improving how organizations define, evaluate, and collaborate on hiring decisions. There is a strong focus on clean architecture, normalized data modeling, role-based access control, and API-driven design. We're seeking a developer with strong expertise in designing scalable SaaS applications, ideally with experience in HRTech, ATS, or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement the backend of a multi-tenant SaaS platform
* Build and document secure, scalable REST APIs
* Structure normalized databases that support granular role and permission logic
* Ensure clean separation between tenants and support for tenant-specific customizations
* Collaborate asynchronously via GitHub and task tracking tools
Frontend:
* Build a modern, responsive web UI (desktop-first, mobile-friendly)
* Implement application screens
* Use reusable components and state management (e.g. Storybook, Redux or Context API)
* Consume APIs cleanly and handle edge/error states
* Focus on usability and clean UX flows for early enterprise adopters
Tech Preferences (open to discussion):
* Backend: Node.js / MongoDB
* Frontend: React.js / Tailwind
* DB: Mongo DB
* Auth: JWT-based, with support for team-level roles
* Hosting: Cloud-first (Azure)
* Deployment: Dockerized microservices architecture preferred
* API integration with multiple platforms including Linkedin, Other ATS, Job boards etc.
Deliverables:
* Working Fullstack codebase (MVP scope: details to be shared post NDA)
* API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
* Basic deployment pipeline scripts
* DB schema with migration scripts
