Refactor React WYSIWYG Editor
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a working but very “home-grown” GrapesJS-based WYSIWYG editor wrapped in React. I need the editor brought up to modern React standards and made production-ready.
What I want from you
• A clean, opinionated React codebase (functional components, hooks, clear folder structure, sensible naming, eslint/prettier in place).
• All current functionality preserved but the frequent bugs eliminated and the sluggish bits tuned for speed.
• A feature-focused test suite—Jest + React Testing Library (or your preferred comparable stack)—that covers the core editing flows so regressions are caught early.
Key focus areas
– Code style: readable, consistent, self-documenting.
– Bug fixes: no more random crashes or broken nodes in the DOM tree.
– Performance: snappy drag-and-drop and smooth typing even with large documents.
