Reduce website outages and improve user experience

Evaluate existing membership site with React frontend and Django Rest API backend. Source of problems is an activity feed that serves as a chat app and notification of site activity. Site is hosted on a Digital Ocean Droplet and frequently goes offline due to a possible memory leak. We switched from Traefik to Nginx over the weekend and the site is now performing even worse.
