Real-Time Surveillance Node/React Build
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I am building a real-time AI video-surveillance platform and need an experienced developer who is equally comfortable in Node.js and React, all written in TypeScript. The core of the product is a live-stream dashboard that lets operators monitor feeds as they happen, review alert history, and manage each camera from a single web interface.
The backend already streams video; your mission is to wrap it with clean, scalable services. You will wire WebSocket channels for sub-second latency, expose REST endpoints for configuration, and integrate with our first AI microservice—motion detection. Other microservices such as object or facial recognition may join later, so the architecture has to stay pluggable.
Key deliverables
• React dashboard for live-feed monitoring and alert-history views
• Camera-management module (add, edit, disable, health checks)
• Node.js API layer in TypeScript with REST routes and WebSocket gateways
• Alert service that receives motion-detection events and pushes them to the UI in real time
• Documentation covering setup, environment variables, and endpoint contracts
Tech expectations
TypeScript end-to-end, strong Node.js design patterns, React hooks/contexts, WebSockets, REST-first API design, and an eye for horizontal scaling (stateless services, sensible caching, and logging). Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and testing frameworks is a plus.
I have staging servers ready, Git access waiting, and a fast feedback loop. If this sounds like the kind of architecture puzzle you enjoy, let’s get started.
