I need an experienced React.js hand to step into an active code-base and leave it cleaner, faster, and visually identical to the Figma designs we’ve approved. The current state has a mix of nagging bugs, sluggish renders, and a folder structure that’s starting to creak. Your mission covers four clear areas: bug fixes, performance optimisation, code-structure improvements, and the actual UI development of new screens.
The workflow is straightforward: I’ll share the Git repo and Figma links, you create a feature branch, translate each design frame into responsive components, remove every warning from the console, and open a concise pull request. I expect modern React patterns (functional components, hooks, Context or Redux where sensible), clean TypeScript or JavaScript, and commits that tell a story. Styles are managed with styled-components, but feel free to suggest refinements as long as the end result remains pixel-perfect.
Deliverables
• All existing bugs resolved with no new warnings
• Noticeable performance gains (initial bundle smaller and key screens >90 Lighthouse score)
• Refactored folder/component structure that’s intuitive and documented in the README
• New screens built directly from Figma, fully responsive and cross-browser tested
• Pull requests reviewed and merged cleanly
