Part-Time React CMS Architect- Australia Time

we need a part time lead solutions architect to lead the transition for the same project. Would you have any profiles?
Has to be a fantastic communicator/leader/front end & back end knowledge.

*Part-Time Solutions Architect*
Web Platforms & Digital Experience ( *React.js / Contentful CMS* )

Initially there will be approximately *30-40 hours per week* then may drop to 10 hours a week.
But if the person can identify projects it can further increase

Working hours- *In between Melbourne 10AM - 6 PM*
Budget - *1000/Hour.*

Role Overview--
This role will provide technical leadership and architectural governance across ATG’s digital ecosystem, ensuring that the React.js frontend, Contentful CMS, and supporting integrations are scalable, secure, and aligned with ATG’s long-term digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Strategy
• Define and maintain the overall architecture strategy for ATG’s web ecosystem.
• Provide architectural guidance across React.js frontend applications and Contentful CMS implementations.
• Ensure platform design supports scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation and standards.

Transition & Platform Stabilisation
• Lead the technical transition and onboarding phase of the ATG web support engagement.
• Review the existing architecture and identify opportunities for optimisation and modernisation.
• Provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of the platform.

Integration & System Design
• Oversee integrations between:
• Contentful CMS
• React.js web applications
• APIs and microservices
• Third-party platforms and services
• Design and validate API architecture and data flows across systems.

Security & Performance
• Ensure web platforms adhere to modern web security best practices.
• Guide the implementation of:
• Authentication frameworks
• API security
• Data protection controls
• Recommend performance optimisation strategies including:
• CDN configuration
• caching strategies
• frontend optimisation
*Skills & Experience*
Technical Expertise
• *10+ years’ experience in web architecture or solution architecture roles*
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js preferred)
• Proven experience implementing and managing Headless CMS platforms (Contentful preferred)

Architecture & Integration
• Experience designing API-first architectures
• Experience working with microservices and cloud-based platforms
• Strong understanding of web performance optimisation and scalability

DevOps & Cloud

Experience with modern DevOps practices including:
• CI/CD pipelines
• containerised deployments
• cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• infrastructure monitoring and observability

Security & Compliance
• Strong understanding of web security frameworks and best practices
• Experience implementing secure API and authentication models
