Junior Node/React Developer Support
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an eager junior developer who can jump into my day-to-day web application work and keep things moving smoothly. Most of the codebase lives in Node.js, Next.js, NestJS and React, yet I occasionally touch pieces written in PHP, so being comfortable switching hats is important.
Here’s what I’ll ask of you on a regular basis:
• Fix bugs as they pop up, from stubborn API errors to unexpected UI glitches.
• Develop small-to-medium features that slot straight into the existing architecture without breaking style guides or test coverage.
• Review my commits (and vice-versa) so we both grow in code quality and consistency.
You’ll be working in Git, raising pull requests for every change, and chatting with me on Slack or Discord for quick feedback loops. Tests are written in Jest and React Testing Library, and we deploy on Vercel and AWS, so any familiarity there is a plus but not mandatory.
If you’re comfortable with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, keen to learn, and happy to pair program when needed, you’ll fit right in. Let me know your typical availability and a link to code samples or a public repo so we can get started.
