Full stack developer - MERN, WP
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We’re looking for someone who has already led successful development of complex web applications in a professional capacity and is looking to go to the next level in further expanding and growing this robust online platform.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 3+ years of (preferably full-stack) JavaScript experience, specifically React and NodeJs.
- Write clean, readable, testable, and maintainable code that performs and scales.
- Advocate for best practices and coding standards.
- You are curious and thoughtful. You seek to grow and learn.
- You take ownership of the projects you work on, and collaboratively drive them forward.
- You have a strong interest in learning and keeping up with industry standards. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but if there’s a problem, you are able to do the deep research to figure out how to solve it.
- You can distill a complex problem into multiple parts and clearly communicate your technical vision.

Responsibilities:
- You will engage a fast evolving javascript codebase using the following stack: MongoDB, Express, React, Node (MERN).
- Collaborate closely with your product designer, keep the user in mind and create an attractive and modern UI.
- You will participate in, and manage the full development cycle: including scoping, design, effort estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and support.
- Quickly react to and address and correct noted feature issues and bugs

- Twilio - SMS correspondence
- ShipEngine - shipping services
- Transloadit - image processing
- AWS S3 - storage
- Wordpress - (Informational/marketing site)
