Full Time Web Developer (WordPress, PHP/Laravel, ReactJS) – Remote | Australian Time Zone

DTDC Australia is looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our growing digital team. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our websites and web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and modern user experience.
If you have strong experience in WordPress, PHP/Laravel, ReactJS, and can work flexibly in line with the Australian time zone, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress plugins and themes.
Build and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel or equivalent modern frameworks.
Work with ReactJS (or similar JS frameworks) for frontend components.
Ensure websites are fully responsive, optimized, and SEO-friendly.
Manage and deploy projects on Linux-based LAMP servers.
Use Docker and Kubernetes for environment setup and scaling (preferred).
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement new features and improvements.

Required Skills & Experience
WordPress – plugin & theme development (custom coding experience required)
PHP / Laravel – solid experience with any modern Laravel version
ReactJS or similar frontend framework (VueJS, NextJS, etc.)
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Linux Server Administration (LAMP stack)
Docker & Kubernetes (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong debugging, Git workflow, and API integration skills

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of professional web development experience
Experience working with cross-functional remote teams
Familiarity with performance optimization and security best practices
Availability to work in Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
