Full-Stack React Platform Relaunch
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have an existing SaaS-style platform running on React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. The core codebase, DigitalOcean hosting, and most third-party integrations are already in place, but the product needs a professional polish before we open the doors to paying customers. Under a strict NDA, you’ll take the current repo and push it over the finish line.
The key visual task is a full rebrand: updated layout and navigation supported by the new logo, colour palette, and typography that I will supply. I’d like these assets woven into the UI with tasteful hover animations and subtle page-to-page transitions that feel premium yet performant. While you’re refining the front end, please run a basic accessibility sweep—contrast ratios, scalable fonts, alt text—so we meet WCAG expectations.
Functional work is equally important. You’ll reconnect and harden existing routes for chat, login, and payment flows, then wire Stripe into secure API endpoints. An affiliate & API framework has been stubbed; it needs completing and clean documentation. Internationalisation is already scaffolded—finish the configuration so English plus three additional languages switch seamlessly.
Before hand-off, add legal footers for Privacy Policy, Cookies, Terms, GDPR, and Affiliate Disclosure; optimise every page for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals; and finally test and deploy the production build to DigitalOcean.
Deliverables
• Updated Git repo with rebranded, responsive React front end
• Re-connected Node.js routes for chat, auth, Stripe payments, and affiliate/API endpoints
• Fully operational i18n across four languages
• Legal footer pages (Privacy, Cookies, Terms, GDPR, Affiliate Disclosure)
• Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores in the green, verified on mobile and desktop
• Production deployment on my DigitalOcean droplet with hand-over notes and test credentials
Acceptance Criteria
1. All critical paths (signup, login, payment, chat) pass automated and manual tests.
2. Stripe webhooks fire and record transactions in MongoDB without errors.
3. Language toggle swaps copy site-wide with no layout shifts.
4. SEO meta tags, XML sitemap, and robots.txt present and validated.
5. NDA honoured; no proprietary assets pushed to public repos.
If this sounds like a challenge you can knock out efficiently, let’s talk timelines and next steps once the NDA is signed.Use the word “silkroad” in your bid to be considered
