Full Stack Development of a Service Exchange Platform (Similar to TimeRepublik)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am developing a comprehensive service exchange platform that enables users to exchange services based on time credits, with the possibility of integrating monetary transactions in later stages. The platform is intended to be scalable, production-ready, and designed for long-term growth.
A preliminary version of the project (MVP) already exists. This version may be used as a reference to understand certain ideas, data structures, and initial concepts. However, it is important to emphasize that this version is very basic and not to be relied upon as a foundation. The platform must be designed and developed from scratch, following professional standards, without relying on pre-built templates or low-quality shortcuts.

Backend: Supabase (Authentication, Database, Storage, Realtime)

1. Authentication and User Management
User registration, login, and logout using Supabase Authentication
User profile system including:
Profile image
Personal information (bio, skills, experience)
Ratings and reviews display
Optional account verification system
Secure session handling
2. Service Management System
Create, edit, and delete services
Service categorization and tagging
Advanced search and filtering functionality
Service detail pages with full information
Ability to request, accept, reject, and manage service orders
Service lifecycle tracking (pending, active, completed, cancelled)
3. Time Credit System (Core Platform Logic)
Each user has a time-based wallet
Users earn time credits by providing services
Users spend time credits when requesting services
Automated balance updates based on completed transactions
Clear logic for calculating and transferring time credits
4. Wallet and Transactions System
Display of current balance (time credits)
Detailed transaction history
Transparent record of all operations
Scalable structure to support future monetary payments
Optional commission system for the platform
5. Messaging and Communication System
Real-time chat between users using Supabase Realtime
Conversation management (inbox, threads)
Basic notification system for new messages and updates
6. Rating and Review System
Users can rate each other after service completion
Written reviews support
Ratings displayed on user profiles and services
