Front-End Web Developer

Thunder is a startup building the platform to transform fundraising for startups and investors. Our mission is to streamline the fundraising process for startups seeking outside capital and make it easier for investors to match with relevant investments.
We’ve got traction and need to upgrade our WebApp experience from a level 2 to a level 10. We’re seeking a talented front-end web developer to work on a contract basis to help us improve and scale our core feature set. This is a full-time position that starts immediately. You’ll report to the CEO but work alongside our lead developer. You must speak English fluently and confidently. We do weekly calls to review the tasks for the week and you’ll be expected to communicate and share your thoughts and expectations with the CEO.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced frontend web developer who has extensive experience working with US-based companies and working around the US East Coast Timezone. Responsibilities:
- Work directly with our lead developer
- Participate in weekly developer meetings at 8:30am EST at least once a week
- Be available on Slack and Asana to address bugs and new feature development
- Follow our release protocol
- Properly document your code for existing and future developers that work on the project
- Contribute 30-40 hours a week and be available during specific work hours
- Write high-quality scalable code that meets your lead developer expectations
