Job ID: 40487707

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Title: Google Ads Compromised Site / Malicious Software Fix Specialist Needed

We need an experienced Google Ads technical compliance specialist to diagnose and fix a Google Ads disapproval issue related to “Compromised Site,” “Malicious Software,” “Destination Not Working,” or crawler/security detection.

Our visible landing page appears clean, and we have already checked the following:

- Google Search Console: Clean
- Google Safe Browsing: Clean
- Redirects: Clean
- Public routes: All 200
- Third-party scripts: Removed for review build
- Console errors: None
- Network errors: None
- Staging references: None
- Backend calls on landing page: Clean
- Production redeploy: Complete

We need someone who can go deeper and verify exactly what Google Ads crawler may be detecting.

Scope of Work:

1. Audit the live domain and landing page for Google Ads compliance.
2. Check for hidden redirects, injected scripts, suspicious assets, mixed content, malware flags, blocked resources, bad headers, unsafe links, crawler-only problems, or suspicious JavaScript.
3. Inspect all public routes linked from the landing page, including header links, footer links, login, start-trial, checkout, pricing, legal, support, help, contact, privacy, terms, refund, and cancellation pages.
4. Confirm that every public landing-page route returns proper 200 responses and does not trigger 401, 403, 404, or 500 errors for Google crawlers.
5. Review all network requests, JavaScript bundles, external scripts, CDN assets, tracking pixels, form actions, API calls, and backend references.
6. Check robots.txt, sitemap, canonical tags, meta refresh, redirects, SSL, mixed content, and security headers.
7. Test the website as Google AdsBot / Googlebot as much as possible.
8. Identify the likely cause of the Google Ads disapproval and provide a clear fix list.
9. Help prepare a clean review build and appeal notes for Google Ads.

Required Experience:

- Google Ads disapproval troubleshooting
- Compromised Site / Malicious Software policy fixes
- Destination Not Working policy fixes
- Technical SEO crawling and site audits
- JavaScript / React landing page experience
- Browser DevTools and network inspection
- Website security/header/redirect diagnostics
- Google Search Console
- Google Safe Browsing
- Google Ads policy review experience

Important:

Please do not apply if you only run Google Ads campaigns. We need someone who can diagnose the technical crawler/security issue causing the disapproval.

When applying, please answer:

1. Have you fixed Google Ads “Compromised Site,” “Malicious Software,” or “Destination Not Working” disapprovals before?
2. What tools would you use to inspect the site?
3. How would you test what Google AdsBot may be seeing?
4. Can you provide a written report with the exact issue and fix?
5. Are you available to start immediately?

Goal:

Find and fix whatever is causing Google Ads to flag the domain, then help us prepare the site for re-review and appeal.
