Firestore Integration for MUI-Based Kanban in React/Next.js LMS
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I am looking for a skilled developer with expertise in React, Next.js, and Firebase to integrate Firestore as the backend database for my existing Kanban application.
The front-end of the application is fully developed with functionality that allows users to interact with a Kanban board locally. The current challenge is that the Kanban data is stored locally and is not persistent across sessions or users.
The objective of this project is to ensure that the Kanban board is connected to Firestore so that each user has their individual and persistent Kanban board state across sessions.
Core Requirements:
Integrate Firestore database with the existing React/Next.js application.
Configure authentication and authorization to ensure that each user accesses only their Kanban data.
Implement CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations for the Kanban board items.
Ensure data synchronization across sessions for individual users.
Write clean, modular, and reusable code.
Preferred Qualifications:
I am seeking an adept developer with proven experience in React, Next.js, and Firebase to integrate Firestore into a Kanban feature within my Learning Management System (LMS). This LMS is built using a fully developed MUI (Material-UI) template, which provides a sophisticated interface and user experience.
The Kanban feature is currently functional on the front end with local data storage. The challenge is to implement Firestore for data persistence, allowing individual users to have their own Kanban board that maintains state across different sessions.
The end goal is to create a robust, user-specific Kanban board that is seamlessly integrated with Firestore to enable real-time data synchronization and persistence.
Please include a portfolio of related work, especially any projects involving Firestore and MUI. I am looking forward to finding the right developer for this phase and potentially building a long-term working relationship.
